Bahjya Mitchell - Missing Child Ignored by Media?

Often times I spend hours scouring news sources and personal accounts regarding the cases I cover here. There are police reports, missing posters, outcry from family and friends, and more to sort through. However, this case is remarkably simple.

Bahjya Cheylynn Mitchell, a 14-year-old girl from Knox County, Tennessee, got into a black sedan on or around April 14th, 2023 and hasn't been seen again. There is no mention of the make or model of the sedan and the direction it went is unknown. Bahjya, who can be seen smiling in the dozen or so photos available online*, is described as bi-racial and petite. She stands approximately 4 foot 2 inches tall and 130 lbs with long brown hair. Her NamUs profile contains two photos, screenshots from social media. And that's it. That's just about all I could find. Nothing was posted by the Knoxville Police. No posts on social media about the disappearance at all. No Amber Alert. Nothing. She's just gone.
